This a pretty easily debated subject, the Bible doesn't give specific dates (more of a frame based on ages provided) So I would hesitate to be dogmatic especially with a year as specific as 2348 BC. That seems to be the Answers in Genesis estimate, I'm not sure what other sources you used. The Institute of Creation Science places it at 2472 BC so very similar. There is also at least this instance of archiologists placing the flood at 3400 BC https://www.newspapers.com/clip/357906/time-of-noahs-ark-cruise-fixed-at-3400/. Personally I would not make a big deal about the date, I let them know it's debated and that part of ancient history is looking at evidence and drawing as much as you can from the evidence. Both of the numbers fit squarely into a young earth perspective so I'm comfortable with either.
