I'm wondering if BJU makes student handouts for note taking to go along with the PowerPoint slides or if another teacher would like to share theirs. I am currently looking for life science, biology, and chemistry.

My students take are required to take chapter notes, and are encouraged (prodded) to add things to their notes in class. If we are talking bigger concepts or about an order/class of organisms (like difference between insects, arachnids, and other arthropods) I use a note sheet. My handouts are usually done in PowerPoint/Keynote so I can arrange it the way I'd like. I sometimes use organizers and other times do some fill-in-the-blank notes. The students hate missing a blank and seem to listen well to figure out what needs to go in the blank. ;)
For some classes I will make a copy of the presentation (save as) and then change it to fill in the blanks and print it out for the kids.
This would be so wonderful if they had that too!
Hi, Kim! Thank you for your question! We do not currently have handouts that go along with the slides. Of course, you are welcome to print out the slides - and using the "outline" or "notes" print options would give more of a handout feel. Maybe that would work as an option for you!
